Because you are allowing us to enter your home while you're away, we work diligently to ensure that our pet sitters and dog walkers are of the highest quality and integrity. Snaggle Foot Dog Walks & Pet Care is America’s only nationwide pet care service whose franchise owners are certfied in pet CPR and first aid, and are bonded and insured.  In addition, all of our staff members are required to pass a drug screen, reference check, and eight-point background screen.

Drug Screens
Caring for pets takes a clear head and tireless energy! True to Snaggle Foot’s commitment to providing pets with the level of care that they deserve, we require our dog walkers and pet sitters to pass pre-employment and random drug screens to test for illegal and/or street drugs. Our clients can depend on our assurance that their loved ones are receiving the ultimate in professional pet care.

Background Checks
Because Snaggle Foot clients are allowing professional pet sitters into their homes to care for their pets, it is only fitting that each pet sitter should be properly screened. A pet sitter or dog walker does not earn the honor of caring for a client’s family member and property until her or she has satisfied Snaggle Foot’s extensive background check. We screen for felonies and/or misdemeanors on record in county courts, multiple-county metro areas, state repositories, and federal courts. In addition, we screen for felony and misdemeanor convictions in 40 states and sex offender information from 33 states, and perform a terrorist database check.

Pet CPR & First Aid
Mouth to mouth isn’t just for humans! Many people are not aware that pet CPR exists and can save an animal’s life. In accordance with the curriculum guidelines of the American Red Cross, Snaggle Foot franchise owners are certified in pet CPR and first aid during their training, and many train their staff in turn. Snaggle Foot’s due diligence toward urgent care also includes establishing accounts with emergency animal clinics that operate outside a veterinarian’s regular hours.

We’ve got them covered! Snaggle Foot clients can take comfort in the knowledge that their home and pets are protected by the extensive bonding and insurance coverage that we require our franchise owners to carry.

Online Scheduling, Bill Pay, and Account Management
Convenience may very well be priceless! From the comfort of their computer, Snaggle Foot clients enjoy secure and comprehensive online management of their account. They can use our scheduling system to confirm upcoming visits, request schedule changes, view and print their invoices, and pay their bill, with the added convenience of using a major credit card.
