After 15 years as a nurse working in long-term care, rehab and hospice, Snaggle Foot Richmond's franchise owner, Carolyn Daley, decided to change gears and follow another passion of hers: caring for pets!

Carolyn has long been an animal lover, always having dogs around the house and helping care for a variety of friend's animals, from cats to fish to rabbits and birds. She also has experience with hamsters, geckos and turtles.

Carolyn has lived all over the country and settled in the Richmond area in 2004. She has two children that share both her love for animals and for volunteering with local animal rescue organizations. The family has been adopting rescue dogs since 1998, all of which have had medical or emotional issues. Currently she has two Walker Hounds, one of which is blind and the other a cancer survivor, as well as a Shi Tzu with a heart condition.

Carolyn's main goal is to care for her clients' pets with the same love and tenderness that she provides to her own. All employees of Snaggle Foot are fully background checked and drug screened prior to employment to help ensure the safety and well-being of clients' beloved pets and homes.
